Background

I am a Software Engineer at Amazon where I help build scalable and performant services that make search easier and faster. Prior to that, I was at TodayTix in New York working on tranforming the checkout flow experience and implementing 3D Secure 2.0. Outside my job, I spend a lot of time reading tech blogs and thinking about how I can contribute to making software engineering education more equitable.


I am a proud alum of San Jose State University (Go Spartans!) and Dean's Scholar Award recipient for four semesters. During my time at SJSU, I spent my time building some of the exciting tech projects. I worked for the school's Writing Center department to enhance scheduling system efficiency and user performance by automating existing scheduling mechanisms, lead website migration, prototyped Android and iOS app for 30k+ users.

Informal

Some random bits about myself:

  • I love Badminton and Chess. Currently fumbling my way through the world of table tennis.
  • Nothing beats making a good cup of masala chai (with fresh ginger, cardamom, clove, mint, and lemongrass).
  • My happy place is anywhere with trees, trails, and a good view.
  • Always down for a lively discussion about life!
